Feedback from previous Rainbow Kin participants
"100% would recommend to every queer parent-to-be. It’s so nice to be in a space where queer families are the focus not just an asterisk at the end or an afterthought. There were so many options and pathways I didn’t know existed so it really empowered me to make decisions to have this baby the way me and my family want, not just how the hospital assumes everyone should do it."
"It was so helpful to run through all the options beyond the most common or heteronormative pathways. We feel way more empowered to ask for what we want and know is right for us. It was also so lovely being in a room with other queer families on the same timeline as us in terms of community building and creating support networks."

"We loved the sessions, they were super inclusive and we learnt so much. What we enjoyed and appreciated is that we were able to learn in a safe space because being gay can sometimes attract negative press. The learnings were also very queer applicable too which was nice :) Becky was amazing, super bubbly and you can tell she's great at adult education and we never felt like a question was too silly to ask"
"The sessions were great for a 101 into pregnancy and newborns. They've helped me an my partner understand the basics, and feel more confident asking more specific questions to health providers. They also were really affirming and have helped me feel more confident being pregnant as a gender non conforming human and meet others going through a similar thing. It was great to meet similar LGBTIQA+ parents all going through the same thing and share solidarity with the quest to become parents."
"Becky is so knowledgeable, so good at explaining things, so welcoming and warm, so good at building community and making everyone feel safe, supported and welcome. She has such a great variety of experience and clinical practice that she is great at comparing and contrasting options and pathways."
